In the beginning months of my 52 Pizzas project I created a Thai Peanut Chicken pizza recipe which turned out so good that I vowed to create another. The craving just kicked the other night in so I decided to create a variation of my Thai Peanut pizza.
For this pizza I made my own peanut sauce. I used peanut butter, soy sauce and brown sugar. It didn’t thin out very well but it tasted great. I bought a huge cabbage, then chopped and sauteed it with garlic and onions. To add some nice color I diced a yellow bell pepper and sliced snow peas. After pre-baking the dough I spread on my peanut sauce, sprinkled on a small amount of mozzarella cheese, added all the veggies, then baked the pizza.
This pizza was quite different from my first Thai Peanut pizza but it was just as delicious! The flavors of the peanut sauce combined well with the flavors of the veggies. Making this pizza has inspired me to attempt more Asian inspired pizzas.
